We are a statewide organization representing agricultural related industries. Our mission is to assist Ohio's livestock industry in expanding its positive contributions to the state.
MANY PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OR CONTRIBUTIONS OF TODAY'S MODERN LIVESTOCK FARMER. THROUGH VARIOUS INDUSTRY IMAGE INITIATIVES, WE COMMUNICATE THOSE POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS TO TARGETED AUDIENCES AND EQUIP FARMERS TO SHARE THEIR STORY IN THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES. WE ACTIVILY PROMOTE AND RECOGNIZE OUR FARMERS WHO EXCEED OUR ENVIRONMENTAL AND ANIMAL WELL-BEING STANDARDS AND SERVE AS MODEL NEIGHBORS IN THE COMMUNITY.
WHILE WE WORK HARD TO KEEP OLC MEMBERS INFORMED ABOUT LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY DEVELOPMENTS. WE ACTIVILY EVALUATE THE IMPACT AND EFFECT PROPOSED LEGISLATION AND REGULATIONS MAY HAVE ON THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY AND DEVELOP MATERIALS AND RESPONSES ON THESE KEY ISSUES AS APPROPRIATE.
