Organizations Filed Purposes: To promote transformational growth through a holistic approach of basic, health & safety, relationship, esteem and purpose needs.

Food Services: The Life Enrichment Center (LEC) provided hot meals and groceries to its clients in 2019. In-kind donations from businesses, individuals, and church and Boy Scout drives significantly resourced these services. Additionally, food items were shared with other non-profit organizations feeding those in need in the community. The LEC operates a micro- business lunch cafe (4 days/week) and catering services to help fund the free community meals and to serve as a training opportunity for clients seeking reentry into the work force. LEC launched a Community Garden with 30 raised beds, teaching clients about gardening. Clients raised produce to take home and gave a portion back to be used in LEC programs.

Health and Education: The LEC provides opportunities for individuals to participate in a wide variety of classes and health services. The goals of these classes are to create community, improve quality of life, and potentially provide needed skills to reenter the work- force. The classes offered in 2019 included: various Bible Studies including Recovery based studies, fitness center and group classes, crafts, computer, GED preparation, ESL, and nutrition seminars. Two community health fairs were held and nurses from Public Health remain available on-site to provide routine screenings and referrals.

Client Services: LEC clients have access to a host of services to meet their needs. Trained volunteers assist those in need through the Ohio Benefits Bank (OBB) and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) programs. Free showers, haircuts, and access to a pantry aid those homeless or living in substandard conditions. Volunteers guide those with even greater needs to available resources in the community. The East Dayton Senior Collaborative program was created to meet local Seniors needs for food, socialization, and access to community resources through three times monthly meetings at the LEC and two other locations. Additionally, bicycles were provided to those with transportation needs.
