PREMIER OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH OFFERS COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES FOR EMPLOYERS FOCUSED ON KEEPING EMPLOYEES HEALTHY AND INJURY-FREE. OUR SERVICES AND PROGRAMS INCLUDE INJURY CARE, DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENINGS, WORKPLACE SCREENINGS, VACCINATION PROGRAMS, MEDICAL PROGRAMS, POST-EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS AND MANY OTHER WORKSITE SERVICES.

THE PCH COMMUNITY WELLNESS PROGRAM COVERS BIOMETRIC SCREENINGS, SKIN CANCER SCREENINGS, FLU SHOTS, LIFESTYLE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS INCLUDING NICOTINE CESSATION, LIFESTYLE COACHING AND WELL-BEING WORKSHOPS AND CHALLENGES. BIOMETRIC SCREENINGS ENCOMPASS MEASUREMENTS OF TOTAL CHOLESTEROL, HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN (HDL OR GOOD CHOLESTEROL), BLOOD GLUCOSE, HEMOGLOBIN A1C, BLOOD PRESSURE, COTININE LEVELS AND HEARING AND VISION SCREENINGS. BIOMETRIC EVENTS ARE HELD IN THE COMMUNITY AT LOCAL COMMUNITY CENTERS, SENIOR CENTERS, CONGREGATIONS, EMPLOYERS, AND USING OUR MOBILE CLINIC. IN 2019, PCH STAFF SCREENED 21,080 INDIVIDUALS. TOTAL SCREENING NUMBERS INCLUDED 1,198 CHOLESTEROL/BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS, 265 BLOOD PRESSURE ONLY SCREENINGS, 4,447 LIPID SCREENINGS, 5,206 A1C SCREENINGS, 1,189 COTININE SCREENINGS, 873 VISION SCREENINGS, 101 HEARING SCREENINGS AND 14,458 FLU SHOTS. THE FOLLOWING PARTICIPANTS WERE POSITIVELY IMPACTED THROUGH HEALTH EDUCATION INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMMING: 1,180 HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENTS WERE COMPLETED, 1,631 COACHING SESSIONS WERE LOGGED, 740 VISITED A LOOK-N-LEARN BOOTH, 465 ATTENDED A WORKSHOP, 265 PARTICIPATED IN A CHALLENGE AND 80 PARTICIPATED IN A LIFESTYLE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM.EACH MAY, DURING SKIN CANCER AWARENESS MONTH, PREMIER COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFERS FREE SKIN SCREENINGS IN THE GREATER DAYTON REGION. IN 2019, THIS EVENT SERVED 590 INDIVIDUALS.

THE PREMIER COMMUNITY HEALTH'S (PCH) SCHOOL NURSE PROGRAM OFFERS COMPREHENSIVE NURSING SERVICES TO CONTRACT OUT TO SCHOOLS BY OFFERING FULL-TIME CLINIC, ONE-ON-ONE NURSING AND SUBSTITUTE NURSE STAFFING SERVICES. THE SCHOOL NURSE PROGRAM IS STAFFED BY A LICENSED SCHOOL NURSE (LSN) SUPERVISOR WITH A MEDICAL DIRECTOR THAT OVERSEES OUR PROTOCOLS AND CLINICAL GUIDELINES. THE NURSES PROVIDE FULL NURSING SERVICES WITHIN THE EMBEDDED SCHOOLS DEPENDING ON THE NEEDS OF THE STUDENTS WHICH INCLUDE MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, IMMUNIZATION ADMINISTRATION, INJURY CARE AND REFERRALS. FURTHERMORE, THE SCHOOL NURSE PROVIDES CPR TRAINING TO MEET THE NEW HOUSE BILL: THAT MANDATES ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS NEED TO BE TRAINED ON CPR.
