Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
Public Health Education: We ensure that all people with arthritis and related conditions and their family members have the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to be proactive in improving their health, including a robust website (www.arthritis.org). We offer evidence-based Programs for Better Living, including exercise programs that have been shown to have significant benefits including arthritis pain reduction, improved mobility, balance and flexibility as well as decreased depression. Peer-reviewed research: We support a peer-reviewed research grant program that funds arthritis researchers, investigators, physicians, and scientists seeking medical breakthroughs leading to better arthritis treatments and therapies that improve patients' lives.
