Our mission has been to maintain the existing interest in the history of Marion County, Ohio, create an interest where it does not now exist and to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret for public education and enjoyment, historical artifacts and information and to encourage historical research and publication.

Along with preserving the history of our community, we strive to create interest where it does not now exist. We provide interesting exhibits that change every year to encourage the public to visit our museum and discover and enjoy our communitys industrial, commercial, and railroad history.
