Teen Institute (TI) & Junior Teen Institute (8th grade - JTI) drug free leadership program for students. TI is based on the principle of peers encouraging peers to make positive choices and is the oldest peer prevention program in the nation. Students can participate in the program at a school, county, and state level, each providing a different level of education and opportunity to build leadership skills. School TI groups provide awareness to their peers about the importance of making positive, drug free choices, as well as opportunities to have fun in a drug free environment. Any student can be a part of TI at the school level. High School TI students develop and implement a variety of alternative activities and educational events.

Other ProgramsCommunity Coalition - A collaboration between groups or sectors of a community, in which each group retains its identity but all agree to work together toward a common goal of building a safe, healthy, and drug-free community. Coalitions are partnerships of the many sectors of a community which gather together collaboratively to solve the communitys problems and guide the communitys future. After School Programs - Special services are delivered to students attending local afterschool programs. Programming includes sessions on social emotional and other life skills.Strengthening Families Program -Strengthening Families is a seven session family program designed to reduce youth substance abuse and improve family cohesiveness. This program is designed for families with youth aged 10 14.

Junior Teen Institute (8th grade - JTI) 8th graders have an opportunity to participate in the Junior Teen Institute (JTI) program. JTI operates on similar principles as Teen Institute. Students attend a weekend leadership conference to learn skills to become better drug free leaders in their schools. After the conference, JTI students bring their skills back to their school to provide awareness about making positive choices to their peers as well as opportunities to have drug free fun. Staff meets regularly with JTI students to plan and implement drug prevention activities and events within their local schools.
