Camp Sue Osborn is dedicated to providing meaningful camping, recreational and social experiences for individuals with special needs from Lake, Geauga and surrounding counties in Ohio. Each year CSO offers 2 weeks of day camp, 1 week of residence camp and 4 days of alumni camp to individuals with all forms of mental and physical disabilities.
Camp Sue Osborn is dedicated to providing excellent, everyday camp experiences for children with special needs in Lake, Geauga and surrounding counties.
The Camping Program Served 158 individuals in 2019. 71 individuals attended residence camp and 75 attended day camp 33 campers attended both day and residence camps, and 48 adult campers attended alumni camp. 31 campers received financial assistance in the form of a campership provided by Camp Sue Osborn. The program generated 34,101 in the form of camper fees charged. In addition to camper fees, program support was also provided by United Way of Lake County and United Way of Greater Cleveland allocations and/or designated contributions, individual and corporate donations, investment income, and fundraising events.
