IN 2019 OUR RESCUE PARTNERS DONATED OVER 460,000 POUNDS OF PERFECTLY GOOD PERISHABLE FOOD HEADED TO THE LANDFILL. LA SOUPE DONATED OVER 60% OF THIS FOOD DIRECTLY TO COMMUNITY AGENCIES FEEDING THE FOOD INSECURE. THE REMAINING FOOD WAS TRANSFORMED BY THE LA SOUPE STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS INTO SOUPE AND OTHER PREPARED MEALS. IN 2019, LA SOUPE DONATED JUST OVER 300,000 SERVINGS TO THE FOOD INSECURE.
