Organizations Filed Purposes:
Morrow County Services for Older Citizens, Inc., dba Seniors on Center was incorporated in 1974 for the purpose of improving the quality of life for the residents of Morrow County who are sixty and older and for helping these residents live active, productive, healthy, and independent lives.
The mission of our Agency dba Seniors on Center is to offer assistance to residents of Morrow County who are sixty and older and encourage these residents to live active, productive, healthy and independent lives.
CONGREGATE AND HOME DELIVERED MEALS Seniors on Center provides congregate meals and home-delivered meals for shut-ins to Morrow County residents age 60 and older. During the year ended December 31, 2019, 2,928 congregate meals and 12,590 home-delivered meals were served to eligible senior residents of Morrow County, Ohio.
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES The Organization also provides handicapped-accessible transportation and escort services for the senior residents of Morrow County to work, appointments, grocery shopping and social events. During the year ended December 31, 2019, 4,186 rides were provided.
OTHER SENIOR SERVICES Other senior services include information and referral services, homemaker services, and the PASSPORT Medicaid waiver program which helps Medicaid eligible seniors obtain the support they need to live independently.
