In April, May, September, and October the site host annually an average 5,000 students who visit the site as an extension of their classroom work an Ohios Native Americain, Frontier, and Canal History.

In July a historical timeline was presented to highlight the variety of events that have taken place on this site. Both military and civilian activities included.
