Advertising and Marketing campaigns engaged in throughout the year serve to promote local businesses, host various conventions and to promote a positive image for the City of Rossford.
The fourth annual Glass City Balloon Race was hosted by the City of Rossford during the last weekend in September. On Friday and Saturday afternoons, attendees watched 10 hot air balloons from across the country ascend into the skies above Rossford. This free festival brings together over 25,000 people to the City of Rossford who enjoy the balloon flights along with helicopter rides, live music, and choices of food provided by 20 food trucks. This event allows attendees to enjoy the end of summer while getting to know the City of Rossford area.
The third annual Rossford Walleye Roundup, sponsored by Bass Pro Shops and the Rossford Convention & Visitors Bureau, was held on May 3-4, 2019. This two-day event is headquartered at the Rossford Marina and it brings together fisherman from all over the midwest who gain access to the Michigan and Ohio waters of Lake Erie for tournament fishing and to compete for cash prizes. This event brings over twenty teams of fishermen and their friends to enjoy the Rossford area each Spring.
