Organizations Filed Purposes:
We increase the capacity of local Christian leaders to rebuild faith communities founded on relationships of love and trust. We look for servant leaders who competently serve the spiritually seeking, the emotionally exhausted or physically hurting in the nations of Eurasia, Eastern Europe and beyond. Our motto is from Isaiah 61: "Oaks from ashes; Communities from ruins." Our strategy summed up is: Bring Christ to your neighbor up close, in person, over time.
Some have the courage to work outside their cultural comfort zone. We helped Eurasians in 7 NGO's travel to neighboring countries to reach others and offer practical help. They trained pastors of house churches 5 Partners are focused on building disciples and reaching out to the unreached.
We develop the capacity, vision and character of Christians in Eurasia, Europe & Africa. They in turn mobilize others to serve. We supplement resources they gather locally with the training & financial support to accomplish their vision. In the terms of our motto, these leaders are the strong oaks that grow from the ashes and shelter others Eight Leading Edge Partners and leaders helped 4 pastors & 28 local mission leaders this year.
Strong local leaders motivate and mobilize their community to accomplish a worthy vision Without usurping local control or responsibility for projects attempted, we back up good local efforts. Major focus in 2019 4 of our partners are focused on education, counseling, and aid in Slovakia, Czech, Belarus & Russia.
