Enhance the patient and family experience at Upper Valley Medical Center by raising community support for programs and services which help build healthy communities.
Upper Valley Medical Center Foundation replaced endoscopes and a C-Arm for the surgical and imaging teams. Replacing these items with new and up-to-date equipment ensures our patients get a quick and proper diagnosis so doctors can recommend the appropriate treatment plans and/or life-saving tactics. It also gives our doctors the tools they need to be successful. This results in greater outcomes for patients, happier doctors that are willing to stay at UVMC, and a healthier community overall.
UVMC Foundation provides program support to cancer patients. In 2019, the UVMCF defrayed the costs of the medical massage and other integrative therapies by providing these services free of charge to cancer patients.
Upper Valley Medical Center Foundation awarded 93 scholarships to area students pursuing a degree in the healthcare related field or who are a child of a UVMC employee. Providing these scholarships helps ensure there will be future healthcare heroes. The UVMC Foundation also supports clinical excellence through scholarships for UVMC staff and employees to attend conferences and seminars to enhance their clinical expertise.
