Sacred Mountain Retreat Center seeks to honor the service and sacrifices of our Nations heroes Active Military, Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters, EMS Caregivers and Gold Star families. Through exposure to nature, alternative healing and open communication we utilize peer-to-peer support to encourage physical and mental healing.

Sacred Mountain Retreat Center brought like-minded and like-scarred people together to learn from each others strengths and work together to overcome their weaknesses, and begin the healing process. The program provided free transportation, food, and lodging. SMRC provided group activities such as Equine Therapy, Massage, Yoga, Cryogenic Therapy, Blacksmithing, and leather crafting. The program also offered activities such as exercising in the weight room and utilizing the infrared saunas for detox. There were also opportunities to hike in nature, and visit Mt Rushmore and the surrounding Black Hills of South Dakota.
