SculptureWalk is an exhibit of sixty-two outdoor sculptures loaned by the artists for year round display in downtown Sioux Falls. The sculptures are installed in May of each year and are removed in April of the following year to make room for the new incoming sculptures. Since the inaugural year of 2004, eight-hundred and fifty-seven sculptures have been through SculptureWalk, and two hundred and five have been sold or commissioned. The program is going into it's 18th year in 2020. Satellite programs are Avera McKennan Hospital ten indoor sculpture exhibit, University of Sioux Falls eleven sculptures on campus, University of South Dakota with seven sculptures, City of Vermillion, SD with five sculptures, City of Watertown, SD with fifteen sculptures and twenty-three other sculptures on lease at various locations in Sioux Falls, SD. Approximately three hundred thousand people experience SculptureWalk every year.
