HEALTH IT DAY - AFCEA BETHESDA'S HEALTH IT DAY BRINGS TOGETHER MORE THAN 500 SENIOR GOVERNMENT LEADERS AND IT PROFESSIONALS FROM THE HEALTH AND MEDICAL COMMUNITIES TO FOSTER BETTER COMMUNICATION, SHARE LESSONS LEARNED, AND IDENTIFY MISSION-CRITICAL HEALTH IT ISSUES. THIS FULL-DAY EVENT FOCUSES ON FEDERAL INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMS THAT HARNESS CURRENT AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, EFFICIENCY, AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE HEALTH CARE INFRASTRUCTURE.
BREAKFAST SERIES - THE AFCEA BETHESDA MONTHLY BREAKFAST SERIES DRAWS BETWEEN 220-300 SENIOR-EXECUTIVE OFFICERS AND IT PROFESSIONALS FROM ACROSS INDUSTRY TO DISCUSS TOPICS OF INTEREST TO THE GOVERNMENT IT COMMUNITY. THE GOALS OF THE EVENT ARE TO FOSTER BETTER INTER-AGENCY COMMUNICATION AMONG KEY STAKEHOLDERS, SHARE LESSONS LEARNED AND BEST PRACTICES AND IDENTIFY MISSION-CRITICAL IT ISSUES TO IMPROVE IT INVESTMENTS.
