Global Rule of Law & Liberty Legal Defense Fund (GLA) is a legal defense fund that empowers defenders, lawyers, and advances justice through various human rights, rule of law, and religious freedom GLA programs. In addition to litigation and public policy advocacy, the GLA implements several US government grants, which have a beneficial effects in several Latin American and other countries.
Global Rule of Law & Liberty Legal Defense Fund, GLA provides financial support for certain types of clients who cannot afford services provided by law firms and policy advocates including representation before international organizations, national courts and tribunals. The Fund will pay for the legal fees and representation by any and all lawyers selected by the client and approved by the Directors.
