NADCP SEEKS TO REDUCE SUBSTANCE ABUSE, CRIME AND RECIDIVISM BY PROMOTING AND ADVOCATING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, GROWTH AND FUNDING OF DRUG COURTS AND PROVIDING FOR COLLECTION AND DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND MUTUAL SUPPORT TO ASSOCIATION MEMBERS.SINCE 1994, NADCP HAS WORKED TIRELESSLY AT THE INTERNATIONAL, NATIONAL, STATE AND LOCAL LEVEL TO CREATE AND ENHANCE DRUG COURTS; INCLUDING ADULT, JUVENILE, FAMILY, REENTRY AND TRIBAL MODELS; DWI COURTS, AND VETERANS TREATMENT COURTS. THE AWARD-WINNING NADCP IS THE PREMIER NATIONAL REPOSITORY, TRAINING, AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION FOR THE DRUG COURT MODEL, REPRESENTING OVER 27,000 MULTI-DISCIPLINARY JUSTICE PROFESSIONALS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS. NADCP HOSTS THE LARGEST MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ANNUAL TRAINING CONFERENCE ON SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND CRIME IN THE WORLD, TOPPING 5,500 ATTENDEES THIS YEAR. IN ADDITION, NADCP HOSTS THE NATION'S ONLY TRAINING CONVENTION DEDICATED TO EFFORTS TO HELP JUSTICE-INVOLVED VETERANS.

ADULT DRUG COURT PLANNING INITIATIVE (DCPI):NDCI AND JFV RECEIVED AND PROCESSED 50 PLANNING APPLICATIONS; 26 ADULT DRUG COURTS, 20 VETERANS TREATMENT COURTS, AND THREE TRIBAL HEALING TO WELLNESS COURTS. WE CONDUCTED 17 ADULT DRUG COURT PLANNING INITIATIVES (ADCPI) TRAINING 179 ATTENDEES. THROUGH THE TRIBAL HEALING TO WELLNESS PLANNING INITIATIVE (THWCPI), WE CONDUCTED THREE TRAININGS SERVING 52 ATTENDEES. WE HELD 13 VETERANS TREATMENT COURT PLANNING INITIATIVES (VTCPI) TRAINING 227 ATTENDEES. IN TOTAL, WE SERVED 433 TREATMENT COURT PROFESSIONALS. IN COLLABORATION WITH TLPI, WE SUPPORTED THE TRIBAL VETERANS HEALING TO WELLNESS COURT SYMPOSIUM AND TRIBAL ENHANCEMENT TRAINING. WE PROVIDED FUNDING FOR VIRTUAL MENTOR COURT VISITS SERVING 265 TREATMENT COURT PRACTITIONERS. WE CONTRACTED WITH THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR STATE COURTS TO DEVELOP THE PRE-TRAINING WEBINARS INTO SELF-DIRECTED TRAINING MODULES.
ADULT TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE (TA):NDCI PROVIDED ONSITE, PHONE, AND WEB-BASED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING TO ALL BJA GRANTEES AND NON-GRANTEE COURTS THAT REQUESTED TTA SERVICES TO ASSIST THEM IN DEVELOPING, IMPLEMENTING, AND SUSTAINING EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES FOR INCREASED PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS AND LONG-TERM PARTICIPANT SUCCESS. WE HOSTED TWO ONSITE TRAIN-THE-TRAINERS TO TRAIN FACULTY ON THE ADULT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROJECT SERVING 59 TREATMENT COURT PROFESSIONALS. WE HOSTED AN INTRODUCTORY WEBINAR FOR NEW BJA GRANTEES TO DESCRIBE THE SERVICES AVAILABLE, INTRODUCE THE AGENCIES AND STAFF PROVIDING TTA SERVICES, AND ANSWER QUESTIONS. WE HOSTED 62 TRAINING AND TA VISITS SERVING A TOTAL OF 738 BJA GRANTEES. WE HOSTED TWO OFFICE HOURS AND TWO WEBINARS THROUGH 'DRUG COURT U,' SERVING A TOTAL OF 731 TREATMENT COURT PRACTITIONERS. WE DEVELOPED AND POSTED SEVERAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) PUBLICATIONS BASED ON DRUG COURTS' QUESTIONS AROUND THE COUNTRY. WE SUBCONTRACTED WITH NPC RESEARCH TO FINALIZE THE ONLINE BEST ASSESSMENT FOR ANY COURTS TO ACCESS. WE PROVIDED FUNDS TO NPC RESEARCH TO COMPLETE THE BUFFALO OPIATE COURT EVALUATION.
ADULT DRUG COURT TREATMENT INITIATIVE (ADCTI): NDCI PROVIDED TRAINING TO ASSIST OPERATIONAL ADULT DRUG TREATMENT COURTS PROGRAMS DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING IMPROVED PROGRAM PRACTICES FOR INCREASED PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS AND LONG-TERM PARTICIPANT SUCCESS. WE CONDUCTED 19 ON-DEMAND TRAININGS SERVING 717 DRUG COURT PRACTITIONERS. WE CONDUCTED 24 ADULT OPERATIONAL TUNE-UP TRAININGS SERVING 481 DRUG COURT PRACTITIONERS. WE PROVIDED SPEAKERS FOR 27 STATEWIDE CONFERENCES SERVING 16,571 TREATMENT COURT PRACTITIONERS. WE PROVIDED 23 LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAININGS SERVING 398 LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. WE FILMED SEVERAL TRAININGS WEBINARS TO DEVELOP WEB-BASED TRAINING MODULES TO PROVIDE ONGOING TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO FACULTY.
