Organizations Filed Purposes: The mission of Just Neighbors Ministry Inc. is to provide immigration legal services to low-income immigrants and refugees of all faiths and nationalities, especially those who are most vulnerable.

Just Neighbors provided immigration legal services to low-income immigrants in Virginia and supported immigrants through community education and advocacy. In FY2019 Just Neighbors helped 762 Virginia residents with 1,021 cases. Services helped clients by enabling immigrant men, women and children who have been victims of crime, such as domestic violence, tracking, violent crimes, and political, religious persecution to obtain the appropriate immigration status to live free of abuse and violence, Escaping Violence 43 percent of the cases. Services unified families by helping clients obtain lawful permanent residence or petitioning for immediate family members to join them in the U.S. Family Unification 11 percent of the cases. Services assisted eligible clients to obtain employment authorization in the U.S. Work Authorization 24 percent of the cases. Services aided at-risk clients with citizenship applications Citizenship 4 percent of the cases. Services provided expert immigration legal advice and counsel to immigrant families, Advice and Counsel 18 percent of cases.
