Organizations Filed Purposes:
The corporation provides training, production, programming and support to enable volunteer producers in the Arlington area to provide content on AIM's Public Access Channels, on WERA-LP FM radio, and online. AIM also organizes youth programming, and provides direct assistance to many Arlington nonprofit organizations.
PROVIDES PUBLIC ACCESS CABLE CHANNELS ON THE COMCAST AND VERIZON NETWORKS IN ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA. ALSO PROVIDES A FULL RANGE OF BASIC AND ADVANCED CLASSES IN MEDIA PRODUCTION AND LITERACY AND A FULL PRODUCTION FACILITY FOR THE CREATION OF INDEPENDENT, LOCAL COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS. THERE ARE CURRENTLY APPROXIMATELY 430 MEMBERS.
WERA 96.7 NON-COMMERCIAL, COMMUNITY FM Radio Station -WERA's programming is produced by and for the community. WERA is an outlet for anyone interested in creating, producing, and delivering broadcast-quality content to the Arlington community and surrounding area. WERA-LP features local-centric programming brought to you by talented and dedicated volunteer producers working in a wide variety of genres and styles to bring the sights and sounds of the Arlington area to our listeners.
