Arlington Thrive provides timely assistance to help our neighbors in need so they can develop the capacity to be stable, secure and thrive in their jobs, health and homes.
Arlington Thrive provided financial assistance to referred client cases through the Daily Emergency Financial Assistance Fund, Carter-Jenkinson Memorial Homelessness Prevention Fund, Permanent Supportive Housing Emergency Assistance Fund, Permanent Supportive Housing Maintenance Assistance Fund, the Risk Reduction Fund and the Arlington Thrive Fund which provides Covid-19 Related Assistance. Throughout the pandemic Arlington Thrive has served as the primary vehicle in Arlington County for emergency financial assistance for residents facing financial crisis and eviction throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to significant increases in local and Federal funding in 2020, Thrive also saw massive increases in support from individuals, businesses, faith communities, and foundations. These increases in funds were commensurate with Thrive's growth in partnerships from under 10 partners to 30 partners, and a growth in staff from 3 full-time employees to over 12 full-time employees.
