EDUCATION/VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM TRAINED STAFF MEMBERS HELP RESIDENTS GROW INTO INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS BY TEACHING THEM BASIC LIFE SKILLS AND PLAN FOR THE FUTURE. TO FORTIFY SELF SUFFICIENCY, THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM HELPS RESIDENTS OBTAIN A BETTER EDUCATION, SECURE VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATIONS, AND MANAGE CAREER DEVELOPMENT.
CHILD DEVELOPMENT/FAMILY PROGRAM BHI TEACHES RESIDENTS TO CARE PROPERLY FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND PROVIDES COUNSELING, FAMILY MEDIATION, PARENTING SKILLS TRAINING, AND INFANT CARE SUPPLIES TO RESIDENTS AND TO YOUNG MOTHERS INELIGIBLE FOR RESIDENTIAL CARE OR ON THE WAITING LIST FOR THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM.
