TO UPLIFT THE SPIRIT AND WELL-BEING OF THE POOREST OF THE POOR THROUGH SEVERAL PROGRAMS LIKE FEEDING AND NUTRITION, LIVELIHOOD PROJECTS, EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS AND BOOKS, INFRASTRUCTURE BUILDING OF CLASSROOMS AND SCHOOL LIBRARIES AND CALAMITY ASSISTANCE AND REHABILITATION PROJECTS.

INFRASTRUCTURE: THE CLASSROOM PROJECTS PROVIDE ADDITIONAL CLASSROOMS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS WITH CRITICAL SHORTAGES, CONFIRMATION OF SITES IS PRINCIPALLY BASED ON STUDENT POPULATION AND CURRENT CLASSROOM CONDITIONS IN THE AREA. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES POTABLE WATER SUPPLY IN AREAS WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO WATER THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION OF ARTESIAN AND DEEP WELLS, MANUAL OR ELECTRIC PUMPS, AND WATER TANKS.
GIFT GIVING: THE GIFT GIVING PROJECTS ARE UNDERTAKEN TO ADDRESS IMMEDIATE NEEDS SUCH AS SHORTAGES IN FOOD AND SANITATION SUPPLIES, AND ACTIVITIES ARE SHORT-TERM STOP-GAP MEASURES MEANT TO BRIDGE EFFORTS TO LEAD COMMUNITIES TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY WHILE RECOVERING FROM CALAMITIES OR CONFRONTED WITH LONG-TERM PROBLEMS DUE TO POVERTY.
EDUCATION: THE ORGANIZATION ENDEAVORS TO HELP FEED THE HUNGER FOR KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION AMONG THE POOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN THE PHILIPPINES. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE COMMISSION ON FILIPINOS OVERSEAS (CFO), SCHOLARSHIPS ARE GIVEN TO DESERVING ELEMENTARY, HIGH SCHOOL, AND COLLEGE STUDENTS, CFO SCREENS SCHOLARS AND FACILITATES THE GRANTS. THE BOOKS PROGRAM CONTINUES TO WELCOME PARTNERS IN OUR EFFORTS TO SUPPLEMENT THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION MANDATED BOOKS TO ALL SCHOOLS WHERE FTH HAS BUILT CLASSROOMS. AS OF LAST COUNT, THESE SCHOOLS COME TO ABOUT SEVENTY PLUS SCHOOLS. THE NEED IS ALWAYS GREAT, THE WORK TREMENDOUS. FEED THE HUNGRY, INC'S BOOKS PROGRAM HAS ALSO BEEN SUPPORTING THE EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS IN THE PHILIPPINES.
