THE CONSORTIUM SELECTS TWO SPEAKERS WITH NATIONAL REPUTATIONS TO ADDRESS IMPORTANT CONCERNS OF EITHER THE UNIVERSITY OR THE CULTURE AT LARGE, OR BOTH, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE MEMBERS AND PARTNERS IT SERVES. THE ANNUAL MEETING ALSO PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBER STUDY CENTERS TO INTERACT WITH AND LEARN FROM THE STAFFS OF OUR PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, WHICH ALSO HAVE AS PART OF THEIR MISSION TO DEVELOP THE LIFE OF THE MIND. THE CONSORTIUM WAS NOT ABLE TO HAVE AN IN-PERSON MEETING THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF RESTRICTIONS DUE TO COVID-19.
