THE NET REVENUE FROM THE 2019 NCGS CONFERENCE WAS $187K.
EDUCATING GIRLS SYMPOSIUMS: NCGS EDUCATING GIRLS SYMPOSIUMS ARE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFERINGS THAT TAKE PLACE IN VARIOUS REGIONS OF THE COUNTRY AND PROVIDE EDUCATORS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONVENE AND EXCHANGE BEST PRACTICES FOR TEACHING AND WORKING WITH GIRLS. THE TOPIC FOR THE SYMPOSIUMS CHANGES EVERY 18-24 MONTHS BASED ON THE REAL-TIME ISSUES AND CHALLENGES FACED BY NCGS MEMBER SCHOOLS. THE AUDIENCE FOR EDUCATING GIRLS SYMPOSIUMS INCLUDES HEADS OF SCHOOL, ADMINISTRATORS, FACULTY, COUNSELORS, AND EDUCATIONAL PROFESSIONALS. ATTENDEES COME FROM ALL-GIRLS AND COED SCHOOLS THAT SERVE PK-12TH GRADE STUDENTS IN THE U.S., CANADA, AND ABROAD, WITH A PARTICULAR CONCENTRATION FROM THE REGION IN WHICH THE SYMPOSIUM IS TAKING PLACE. NCGS OFFERED TWO EDUCATING GIRLS SYMPOSIUMS IN FY19 IN CLEVELAND, OH, AT LAUREL SCHOOL IN OCTOBER 2018 WITH 350 ATTENDEES AND IN NEW YORK, NY, AT THE NIGHTINGALE-BAMFORD SCHOOL IN FEBRUARY 2019 WITH 280 ATTENDEES. THE NET REVENUE FROM BOTH EDUCATING GIRLS SYMPOSIUMS TOTALED NEARLY $39K.
HEADWAYS: HEADWAYS PROVIDES SCHOOL LEADERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT VIRTUALLY, USING THE VIDEO-CONFERENCING TOOL ZOOM, TO DISCUSS OPERATIONAL ISSUES RELEVANT TO THEIR POST. OPEN TO ALL NCGS MEMBER SCHOOLS, INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS GATHER FOR SMALL GROUP, ONE HOUR-LONG FACILITATED CONVERSATIONS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR TO DISCUSS PRE-ARRANGED AND TIME-SENSITIVE TOPICS. IN FY19, NCGS OFFERED 15 COHORTS FOR HEADS OF SCHOOL, ADMISSIONS DIRECTORS, ATHLETIC DIRECTORS, MIDDLE SCHOOL DIRECTORS, SCHOOL COUNSELORS, ADVANCEMENT/DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORS, COLLEGE COUNSELORS, COORDINATE EDUCATION, DEAN OF STUDENTS, DIVERSITY DIRECTORS, GLOBAL LEARNING/EXCHANGE COORDINATORS, LOWER SCHOOL DIRECTORS, MARKETING/COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTORS, LEADERS OF TUITION-FREE SCHOOLS, AND UPPER SCHOOL DIRECTORS. WITH 157 PARTICIPANTS AMONG THE COHORTS, REVENUE FROM THE HEADWAYS PROGRAM WAS $31K.
