Organizations Filed Purposes:
NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDERS ASSOCIATION'S (NSPA) ADVANCES THE COLLECTIVE IMPACT OF SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDERS AND THE SCHOLARSHIPS THEY AWARD, ULTIMATELY WORKING TO ENSURE COLLEGE SUCCESS FOR ALL STUDENTS THROUGH THE POWER OF SCHOLARSHIPS. NSPA IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING THE NEEDS OF PROFESSIONALS ADMINISTERING SCHOLARSHIPS IN COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, NONPROFITS, FOUNDATIONS, AND BUSINESSES. MEMBERSHIP IN NSPA PROVIDES ACCESS TO NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM RESOURCES. NSPA IS SUPPORTED PRIMARILY BY MEMBER DUES, CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES AND SPONSORSHIPS. NSPA ALSO PERIODICALLY RECEIVES LARGE MULTI-YEAR GRANTS FROM NATIONAL FOUNDATIONS TO, AMONGST OTHER THINGS, BUILD A TOOLKIT TO HELP MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS CREATE AN ENHANCE THEIR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS, FOR CAPACITY BUILDING AND FURTHER IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LONG-TERM STRATEGIC PLAN.
MEMBER SERVICES AND CONFERENCES: NSPA PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICES FOR SCHOLARSHIP ADMINISTRATORS, INCLUDING BEST PRACTICE PROGRAM DESIGN AND EVALUATION RESOURCES, NETWORKING AND COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES, AND ACCESS TO INDUSTRY RESEARCH. NSPA HAS NEARLY 1800 MEMBERS FROM OVER 580 ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA AND BEYOND. IN 2019, NSPA HELD ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN MINNEAPOLIS, MN AND PROVIDED OVER 100 HOURS OF EDUCATIONAL CONTENT AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES TO NEARLY 700 HIGHER EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP ADMINISTRATION PROFESSIONALS.
