APMI conducts external peer reviews of water resources projects (such as levees, dams, flood protection, life and safety protection) under the purview of the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers to ensure adequacy of models and analyses in various fields of science and engineering in different parts of the U.S. APMI also provides independent advisory services to the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering Center by ensuring the adequacy of proposed approaches and technologies for the cleanup of contaminated sites across Air Force bases.
