The Children's Science Center Lab, an interactive museum which opened in June 2015 and focuses on children ages two through twelve, was visited by 49,267 individuals during 2019. The Lab offers four hands-on experience zones: a) Experiment Bar - a place where you can order" experiments from a rotating "menu" of STEM activities, b) Inspiration Hub - exhibits real world STEM applications and shows prototypes of the future museum being planned by the organization, c) Tinker Shop - a place for making, creating, and building which is based on open-ended design challenges, and d) Discovery Zone - a learning space designed for budding scientists aged five and older. The organization also served 28,400 individuals during 2019 with programs at schools, libraries, festivals and other locations.
