TO nurture a passion for choral music through excellent choral performances, professional development opportunities for young soloists and conductors, education and training for young choristers, and community outreach events
Prepared and performed three choral music concerts with a total of 110 people performing as volunteer singers at one or more concerts, and with more than 900 community members in attendance across all of the concerts. Provided choir scholarships for 13 high school singers to participate in an adult, auditioned mixed choir. Ticket prices included student tickets for ages 13-22 for just $5, and children ages 12 and under admitted free to all concerts. Cooperated with local community service organizations and charities at concerts to raise awareness of community challenges and encourage support for service providers.
