Organizations Filed Purposes: OUR VISION IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE TO COLLABORATIVELY SUPPORT PERSECUTED COMMUNITIES, CHALLENGE REPRESSION, AND EXPAND FREEDOM OF RELIGION AND BELIEF GLOBALLY.

21WILBERFORCE IS A CHRISTIAN HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO DEFENDING THE UNIVERSAL RIGHTS OF RELIGION, BELIEF, AND CONSCIENCE FOR ALL PEOPLE.

DEFEND AND INFORM: 21Wilberforce leverages the strength of collaborative partnerships, grassroots empowerment, and policy campaigns. We work side-by-side with policymakers and their staffs to identify and address reforms needed to advance IRF as a significant human rights concern. 21Wilberforce also advocates for prisoners of conscience release through: 1) public actions, 2) the media, and 3) social media posts and campaigns. 21Wilberforce produces and makes available an array of resource materials crucial to the understanding, promotion, and advancement of international religious freedom. These communication vehicles include media (regular radio presentations and publications), regular alerts on critical events around the world, collaborative information events and publication projects with partner organizations, organizing communications working groups and trainings, speaking engagements, and special projects such as the International Religious Freedom (IRF) Congressional Scorecard and the 20th Anniversary IRF Act Retrospective.

MOBILIZE AND EQUIP: 21Wilberforce seeks to enable and empower others, facilitating results-based solutions, partnership programs, and coordinated coalition-based actions. Toward that end, we convene communications strategy sessions, train partners on how best to collaborate with legislators, shape policy-changing narratives with persecuted people, collaborate on launching new solutions-based initiatives, and provide useful tools and resources. 21Wilberforce provides practical, hands-on education, resources and training in IRF advocacy and leadership for activists and decision makers.

TECHNOLOGY: Responding to the need for a single and centralized go-to place for stakeholder communication, engagement, advocacy, and direct action, 21Wilberforce has launched and is continuing to develop The Freedom Center, a collaborative online platform for resources and action. The Center equips global faith-based networks, advocacy organizations, and the general IRF community with resources, training, and tools to support persecuted communities, challenge repression, and expand freedom of religion and belief. The online Freedom Center platform serves as a global resource knowledge base and customizable collections of training and action tools for all the 21Wilberforce programs and focus areas.
