Demonstrating the love of God and sharing the Good News of the Gospel by providing material resources and financial support to those in need in Kenya, which included building 5 rainwater catchment systems, 3 four-stall latrines, renovating/furnishing dormitories in an orphanage in the slums of Nairobi, and delivering over 9,000 articles of clothing, shoes, books, linens, and housewares to 15 facilities in Kenya.
SIJN shipped a 40' container to Kenya in November, 2020. It container approximately 75,000 articles such as clothing, shoes, houseware, linens, games, books, school supplies, and toys. It was delivered to volunteers in Kenya who distributed it to 20 orphanages and schools in Kenya as well as 2 rescue centers and senior men's home and local churches.
Built 4 5-stall latrines, 5 rainwater catchment systems, 1 standalone classroom, 3 standalone kitchen at orphanages and school in Kenya. Also renovated existing space to create a library at one of the facilities.
Provide gift cards to people in serious financial need, provided support to local ministries including Precious to God, OneVoice, Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Distributed Scripture at various places.
