ISIAQ IS AN INTERNATIONAL MULTIDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT THE CREATION OF HEALTHY, COMFORTABLE AND PRODUCTIVE INDOOR ENVIRONMENTS.
ISIAQ is an international, independent, multidisciplinary, scientific, non-profit organization whose purpose is to support the creation of healthy, comfortable, and productivity-encouraging indoor environments. ISIAQs role is to facilitate international and interdisciplinary communication and information exchange by publishing and fostering publication on indoor air quality and climate. ISIAQ organizes, sponsors, and supports initiatives such as meetings, conferences, and seminars on indoor air quality and climate; and develops, adapts, and maintains guidelines for the improvement of indoor air quality and climate. ISIAQ serves a membership base of about 700 researchers and academics from around the world. 2019 Accomplishments: Conferences: Healthy Buildings 2019-Asia and Pacific Rim (Changsha, China in October) attended by over 400 individuals, and ISES/ISIAQ Joint Conference (Kaunas, Lithuania in August), attended by over 450 scientists and practitioners from 40 different countries. Editorial coordination for Indoor Air Journal. Six issues in 2019. In 2019 (Volume 29), 83 research articles, including 4 reviews were published, as well as 6 editorials.Distribution of educational content relevant to Indoor Air Quality via webinars (2 in 2019) and conference proceedings.
