MEMBER PROJECTS - THE DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION OF PROJECTS TO EXPAND, DEFEND AND SUPPORT THE USE AND APPLICATION OF COPPER AND COPPER ALLOY FABRICATED PRODUCTS IN VARIOUS MARKETS WITHIN THE U.S. THIS INCLUDES MARKET RESEARCH, PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY, AND TECHNICAL SERVICE AND SUPPORT OF MARKETS THAT INCLUDE: BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ELECTRICAL AND NON-ELECTRICAL APPLICATIONS; OEM APPLICATIONS INCLUDING HVACR, PLUMBING AND BUILDING HARDWARE, ETC; AND INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS. CURRENT PROJECTS INCLUDED SUPPORTING LEAD SERVICE LINE REPLACEMENTS IN VARIOUS MUNICIPALITIES.
INDUSTRY TECHNICAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT - TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF PRE-COMPETITIVE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS TO ADDRESS NEAR TO MID-TERM OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE USE AND APPLICATION OF COPPER AND COPPER ALLOY PRODUCTS AND TECHNOLOGIES. CURRENT PROJECTS INCLUDE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON: HEALTH ISSUES RELATED TO PLUMBING PIPING; USE OF COPPER IN GREEN & HEALTHY BUILDINGS AND GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND IMPACT; CORROSION CONTROL IN COPPER PIPING SYSTEMS; IMPROVING SAFETY, RELIABILITY, RESILIENCY AND EFFICIENCY OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY AND ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SYSTEMS.
INDUSTRY COMMUNICATIONS - PROMOTIONAL AND ADVOCACY ACTIVITY TO: HIGHLIGHT THE QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, AND EFFECTIVENESS OF COPPER AND COPPER ALLOY PRODUCTS; ESTABLISH THE IMPORTANCE AND NECESSITY OF COPPER-BASED PRODUCTS AND TECHNOLOGY IN EVERYDAY LIFE.
