MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS ARE CHALLENGED TO CREATE A HEALTHY FOOD LUNCH, BREAKFAST OR SNACK DESIGNED TO MEET HIGH STANDARDS FOR NUTRITION, TASTE, PRESENTATION AND ORIGINALITY. THE CHALLENGE IS PAIRED WITH AN EXPO THAT BRINGS TOGETHER CELEBRITY CHEFS AND EXPERTS TO SHARE INSIGHTS ON HEALTHIER LIVING.
FOOD DAY- THE GOAL OF FOOD DAY IS TO BUILD AWARENESS OF AND INCLINATION FOR HEALTHY CHOICES AND GAUGE A CHANGE IN KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES ABOUT FOODS AND EXERCISE AMONG PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS. THE EVENT, DESIGNATED AT A TITLE I SCHOOL, ENGAGES STUDENTS AND STAFF IN ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE HEALTHY FOOD CHOICES AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.
