Organizations Filed Purposes: Human services: multipurpose, 124 recipients served; over 878 volunteer hour reported, over 9891 miles driven to make over 800 in-home-visits; Of 27 volunteers, only 10 reported hours and mileages. Volunteers delivered incontinent supplies and dietary supplements, equipment or medical alert system; all at no cost to the recipients. Funds came from donations and one fundraisers. Due to Covid 19 pandemic, one county did not have volunteers to deliver supplies, but were allowed to pick up supplies for the main office in Warsaw, VA.

Assist residents of Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond and Westmoreland Counties with in home support to enable those suffering with life-altering illnesses, eg. cancer, heart disease, stroke or serious accidents. Support is provided at not cost to the recipients.

Dietary supplements: Ensure or Glucerna are purchased and distributed to recipients as approved by their personal physicians. An average of 48 recipients received Ensure delivered to them monthly by volunteers. An average of 25 recipients suffer with diabetes who received Glucerna supplements delivered to them monthly by volunteers. A minimum of one 8 oz serving or a maximum of three 8 oz. serving are provided (as approved by their physicians) free of charge to the recipients.

Incontinent Supplies: Vinyl disposal gloves, protective bed pads, sensitive personal cleansing clothes and disposal diapers or pull-ups were delivered by volunteers monthly to recipients who met our established criteria for assistance and requested these items. The supplies were provide to an average of 96 of the recipients free of charge.

Medical Alerts: A telecommunication alert system installed on the recipients' telephone system, was provided for an average of 10 recipients each month of 2020. Recipients who met the established criteria for this type of assistance lived alone all day or was home alone while family members worked during the day and were at high risk of falling in their homes. Volunteers installed the systems and monitored the efficiency of the equipment monthly. The fee for each system was paid by this organization. Recipients received this benefit free of charge.
