Organizations Filed Purposes:
To furnish the necessary financial aid, assistance and encouragement in cooperation with Oakton High School to support the rowing crew teams of Oakton High School.
The organization and its members manage and fund the activities of the Oakton High School Crew team, including coaching and transportation for training. In FY2020, the program benefited 110 student athletes.
The Booster Club organizes events and transportation for regattas for members. In FY2020, the regatta season was stopped due to COVID-19 on March 13, 2020. Five months of training was accomplished, but no regattas were open.
At the organization's Year End Senior Ceremony, graduating seniors were congratulated on their years of rowing. Captains for the next high school year auditioned virtually and were selected by the Coaches.
