The mission of the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies is to promote professionalism, and enhance each member state's ability to provide the highest quality and most efficient services possible to their citizens.
The association hosts two major conferences a year. One in the spring, usually in May, in a different state each year and one in the fall just prior to, and in the same city as, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).ASCIA prides itself in working to represent the concerns and issues of its members but also working with the major law enforcement associations on national issues of mutual concern.
