THE TEENPACT STATE CAPITOL CLASS IS A 1 TO 4 DAY COMPREHENSIVE LEADERSHIP SCHOOL INTENDED TO EDUCATE YOUTH ABOUT THE FOUNDATIONS OF GOVERNMENT FROM BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE. THROUGH "HANDS ON" TRAINING, STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT WITH THEIR LEGISLATORS, INTERVIEW LOBBYISTS, ANALYZE PUBLIC POLICY, AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH LIKE-MINDED STUDENTS. ENGAGING IN PROPER PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE AND PRACTICING PUBLIC SPEAKING BOOST CONFIDENCE AND CAUSES THEM TO SEE THEIR OWN POTENTIAL TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
TEENPACT NATIONAL CONVENTION IS A WEEKLONG EVENT SERVING AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN THE STATE CLASS PROGRAMS AND THE ALUMNI EVENT SEASON.THIS IS THE LARGEST SINGLE EVENT OF THE ENTIRE YEAR AND DRAWS STUDENTS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY TO A WEEK OF MOCK ELECTIONS,GOD HONORING WORSHIP, NATIONALLY KNOWN SPEAKERS,ENRICHING SMALL GROUP ACTIVITIES,COMPETITIVE FRISBEE AND VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENTS, AND DEEPENING RELATIONSHIPS WITH LIKE-MINDED BELIEVERS. THIS IS VIEWED AS A WEEK OF EQUIPPING STUDENTS FOR GOD'S CALL
THE VARIOUS ALUMNI EVENTS ALLOW STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY OF GROWING DEEPER IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST AND BUILDING LIFE-LONG FRIENDSHIPS. THE VARIOUS EVENTS - JUDICIAL, SURVIVAL, CONGRESS, ENDEAVOR, VENTURE, AND BACK TO DC INCLUDE WORSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, FRISBEE, AND FOOD TO ENHANCE THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE.
