THE PROGRAM DEVELOPS RESIDENTS' ABILITIES TO: 1) ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN COMMUNITY LIFE 2) GAIN PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT 3) CARE FOR THEIR OWN NEEDS 4) DEVELOP SOCIAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS THE PROGRAM ALSO WORKS WITH AREA AGENCIES WITH SIMILAR PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE SERVICES.
PROVIDE COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES TO YOUNG ADULTS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS WHO ARE ABLE TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY BUT STILL REQUIRE ASSISTANCE TO MANAGE THEIR ONGOING AFFAIRS. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE: ASSISTANCE WITH PLANNING MEALS AND GROCERY SHOPPING BUDGETING AND MANAGING FINANCES MANAGING MEDICAL CARE AND APPOINTMENTS THE SERVICE WAS INITIATED DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2013.
