Franklin also supports community screenings and education on chronic disease prevention and management, sponsoring over 310 events touching over 28,969 people. In furtherance of its mission, Franklin provides extensive uncompensated care. Stated at cost, charity and unreimbursed Medicaid costs for the year exceeded $2 million.
