Organizations Filed Purposes:
Orchard Hills Achievement Center, INC invests in the lives of under-resourced children through academic programs and food support.
Educational programs are free to enrolled children. During COVID school closures, OHAC expanded to provide a five day per week program to children until schools reopened. We normally offer a three morning a week preschool for three and four year olds, and a homework helps program for elementary school children at two locations. We serve 80 children who would otherwise not have the help needed to succeed in school.
Food and Gift programs give food to families during breaks from school. This program also gives coats, clothes, and gifts at Christmas and all needed school supplies, backpacks and shoes for children returning to school in the fall.
Inkind expense covers what it would cost to purchase all of the donated items for the food, gifts, and supplies for programs
