NGMA provides tools and resources for grants professionals to support and maintain high levels of grants management competency and to establish standards of excellence for grants managers.NGMA provides comprehensive full lifecycle grants management training, professional certification, continuing professional education, tools and resources, and a forum for networking with grants industry professionals. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE FACILITATED THROUGH ORGANIZATIONAL SPONSORSHIP OF REGULAR LIVE AND RECORDED TRAINING EVENTS, AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE, AND PROFESSIONAL PUBLICATIONS.
The Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS) professional credentialing program was released to the public grants community in September 2012.
