ONLY A FEW VISITS WERE MADE TO STAFF OF THE HOUSE OVERSIGHT AND REFORM COMMITTEE, THE HOUSE APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE, AND THE SENATE HOMELAND SECURITY AND GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
EXECUTIVE BRANCH ADVOCACY: MET WITH POLICY OFFICIALS RESPONSIBLE FOR GOVERNMENT-WIDE SHARED SERVICES IMPLEMENTATION AND ADVOCATED ACTIONS TO ACCELERATE AND ENHANCE EFFECTIVENESS OF IMPLEMENTATION EFFORTS. PUBLISHED WHITE PAPER ENTITLED, "WHAT COMES NEXT: SHARED SERVICES BEYOND 2020, AN ACTION PLAN TO ACCELERATE SHARED SERVICES IN THE NEXT ADMINISTRATION" IN NOVEMBER 2020.
EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: HOSTED ONE EDUCATIONAL "BREAKFAST SEMINAR AND CONVENED TWO MONTHLY "FORUMS" (PROBLEM-SOLVING WORKSHOPS) FOR GOVERNMENT AND INDUSTRY EXECUTIVES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (NAPA) AND THE SENIOR EXECUTIVES ASSOCIATION (SEA). CONVENED ONE FULL-DAY "SHARED SERVICES SUMMIT" (CONFERENCE) FOR GOVERNMENT AND INDUSTRY LEADERS, CO-SPONSORED WITH THE AMERICAN COUNCIL FOR TECHNOLOGY/INDUSTRY ADVISORY COUNCIL (ACT-IAC). DEVELOPED AND TESTED IMPLEMENTATION OF A "SHARED SERVICES READINESS ASSESSMENT TOOL" IN COLLABORATION WITH TWO GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.
