Organizations Filed Purposes: Enable all present and future Black employees in Local, State and Federal Government to have the ability to maximize their career opportunities and provide a mechanism for inclusion, growth and advocacy.

Virtual Regional Training Conference ( May, 2020) Region XI, 2020 Regional Training Conference 1st Virtual Training was an astounding success!!! Coordinated by the Program and Education Committee, the theme was "BIG Promoting Excellence in Public Service through Training and Development". The Conference began with Deadra Welcome, Keynote opening speaker presented on "Did Show Up Today; Adjusting to the New Normal; Breakout sessions included training by Maria Morukian, Management Concepts, (Managing Beyond Generational Differences; and Leading Through Change and Uncertainty) (Mass Mutual) Financial Management; Leadership training by Bruce Thomas ( The Art & Skill of Courageous Fellowship) and Diversity & Inclusion training by Michael Murray (Future of Federal Workforce: Diversity & Inclusion Best Practice Post COVID-19), and (AAFEA) National President Dr. Reginal Wells closed with a Real Talk FIRSIDE Chat on leadership and Leading Change.

Virtual Youth (Oratorical/STEM) (June 2020) The Youth Oratorical/STEM competition provided students the chance in a virtual environment the opportunity to develop speaking and presentation skill demonstrating their knowledge and creativity. Certificates of participation and Chapter awards are presented for first, second, and third place. The Oratorical theme was " How Can An Inclusive Immigration Policy Bring Unity to United States of America". There were students that participated ranging from 9th to 12 grade. The STEM theme was " Exploring Coding/Programing Opportunities". These programs overall were designed by the BIG National Organizations to enhance the communication and Technology skills of the high school students.

Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Summit (April, 2020 & September 2020) In support of continuing our focus on advocacy, the Region XI Council EEO Committee Chair hosted two annual EEO Summits this year. The roundtables provided training and resources for addressing advocacy, EEO issues, and concerns as well as the HATCH Act, and relationship with Unions. The Spring EEO roundtable hosted on April 25, 2020 focused on ensuring members understood their rights EEO process, presenters included the National AE/EEO Chair, and representatives from EEOC Administrative Judges, Marcia Camella and Montez Cobb. The EEO Summit hosted on September 17, 2020 focused on HATCH Act Training conducted by The Office of Special Council.
