Organizations Filed Purposes: Rehabilitation of wildlife and education regarding wildlife

Our primary program service is the Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Release of injured and orphaned wildlife. In 2020, Sarvey Wildlife cared for 3,013 wild animals, 21 domestic animals, and re-nested/re-united 6 wildlife babies with their families. We treated 137 different species and our release rate was 75%.

Educational Presentations - Sarvey Wildlife is home to 5 non-releasable raptors, which are used to educate the public about birds of prey, native wildlife, habitats, and environmental issues. In 2020, the education team gave 9 presentations at area schools, clubs, and festivals. This total was greatly reduced due to the impacts of COVID. As schools were closed and learning went remote, we were unable to facilitate any in person activities after March 2020.
