A TEAM CONSISTING OF MANUFACTURING STAFF MEMBER, VOCATIONAL COUNSELORS AND JOB DEVELOPERS WORK WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL TO MEET THEIR GOALS.IN ADDITION TO TRAINING SERVICES LEADING TO JOB PLACEMENT, INDIVIDUALS CAN ALSO BE REFERRED FOR DIRECT JOB PLACEMENT SUPPORT AS THEY TRANSITION INTO COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT.INDIVIDUALS WERE REFERRED BY THE WASHINGTON STATE DIVISION OF VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION, WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF SERVICES FOR THE BLIND, LABOR AND INDUSTRIES, VETERANS ADMINISTRATION, AEROSPACE JOINT APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE, KING COUNTY EMPLOYMENT AND COMMUNITY NON-PROFIT PROGRAMS.IN 2019, WE SERVED 245 IN OUR MANUFACTURING TRAINING, JANITORIAL TRAINING AND PLACEMENT PROGRAMS. WE SUPPORTED 142 INTO COMPETITIVE JOBS IN THE COMMUNITY.

ORION TRAINING & ASSESSMENT CENTER:THE TRAINING & ASSESSMENT CENTER OPERATES ORION'S OFFICE SKILLS & CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM AND CONTACT CENTER TRAINING PROGRAMS. VOCATIONAL COUNSELORS ASSIST PARTICIPANTS WITH ASSESSMENT OF SKILLS AND ABILITIES, SKILLS TRAINING, GOAL DEVELOPMENT AND JOB PLACEMENT IN SUPPORT OF EACH INDIVIDUALS TRANSITION TO COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT.ORION'S CONTACT CENTER INTERFACES CLOSELY WITH OUR OFFICE SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM. THE TRAINING CENTER PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR TRAINING INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AND BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT IN THE CALL CENTER INDUSTRY.IN ADDITION TO TRAINING SERVICES LEADING TO JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES, INDIVIDUALS CAN ALSO BE REFERRED FOR DIRECT JOB PLACEMENT SUPPORT AS THEY TRANSITION INTO COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT.PARTICIPANTS INCLUDE INDIVIDUALS REFERRED BY THE WASHINGTON STATE DIVISION OF VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION, LABOR AND INDUSTRIES, VETERANS ADMINSTRATION, AEROSPACE JOINT APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE AND COMMUNITY NON-PROFIT PROGRAMS.IN 2019, ORION SUPPORTED 143 INDIVIDUALS AT THIS SITE AND ASSISTED 9 INTO COMPETITIVE JOBS IN THE COMMUNITY.
