The mission of Kids Discovery Museum is to spark children's curiosity through play and experiential learning, opening young minds.
Kids Discovery Museum operates a children's museum to provide educational and early childhood education to the general public including children, families, caretakers, and schools in Kitsap County and beyond. The Museum also provides a venue for a wide spectrum of volunteer opportunities. The Museum had more than 35,000 visitors in 2019. School groups throughout Kitsap and King Counties participated in field trips that focused on STEAM activities, in addition to exploring the Museum's hands-on exhibits. Kids Discovery Museum also has an extensive access program providing free or reduced admission for under-served children and families.
Kids Discovery Museum (KiDiMu) operates a children's museum to provide early childhood education and exploration to the general public. Our visitors include children, parents, grandparents, caretakers and schools from Kitsap County and beyond. KiDiMu provides volunteer opportunities for youth, adults and seniors. KiDiMu welcomed over 35,000 visitors in 2019. KiDiMu offers 3 levels of membership. KiDiMu also provides access through free and reduced admission.
Summer Camps: KiDiMu offered nine four-day camps over the summer with a class size of ten. One day workshops were provided throughout the year during school breaks with a class size of 10.
Other Programs: KiDiMu offers field trips, birthday parties, weekly stem activities, pop up events, and Sensory Sunday a program for children with autism or other sensory challenges or other special needs.
