Organizations Filed Purposes:
The purpose for which Legacy Homeschool Center is organized is to provide access to non denominational Christian academic instruction in accordance with New Testament scriptures and to provide support to the local homeschool community. In furtherance of said purpose, Legacy Homeschool Center may engage in other, incidental and collateral activities directly or indirectly related to the exclusive purpose of the corporation. By way of illustration and not by way of limitation, these activities may include tutorial services, distribution of educational materials, informing the public concerning access to and features of home based education, forming or promoting support and special interest groups for students and/ or parents, field trips, as well as fund raising activities in the furtherance or support of the foregoing purpose.
To provide home-educating families access to academic instruction, enrichment activities, and social events.
Coordinated provision of 80+ classes to approximately 175 families meeting once weekly for 32 sessions. Tuition is collected from families and paid to independent contractors who teach the classes.
Coordinated provision of social activities for homeschooled teens. All work is performed by volunteers.
