Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Downtown Bellingham Partnership champions the health and vitality of Downtown Bellingham through promotion of commerce, culture and celebration.
Events: Every year we host popular events to drive traffic and create a vibrant downtown. These include monthly Art Walks, the 5-week concert series Downtown Sounds, Wine Walks, Trick-or-Treat and a Holiday Festival.
Community Outreach: The DBP administers several programs for the promotion of Downtown and as a means to support small business development. These programs included quarterly Downtown Neighborhood Association meetings, parking, retail and restaurant promotions. These activities are funded in part by a contract with the City of Bellinghams Planning and Community Development Department to cover operations expenses and through corporate donations through the Main Street Tax Incentive Program.
Landscaping Services: The DBP is contracted by the City of Bellingham to provide landscaping and cleaning services to Downtown. This includes seasonal planting, weeding, leaf removal and trash clean-up.
