Organizations Filed Purposes:
OVCF mission is to "improve the quality of life by connecting people who care with causes that matter." To fulfill this mission, we make grants; we champion philanthropy; and we convene and connect people and organizations, building partnerships for greater community impact.
OVCF coordinates a countywide nonprofit alliance, provides leadership and professional development and educational opportunities to nonprofit organizations. There is a biennial conference and social and professional networking activities for staffs, boards and volunteers working in the nonprofit sector. We also design and deliver the customized Fast-Track Board Training and Coaching program to enhance the effectiveness of the sector and its members. All these efforts combine to build the capacity of local nonprofit organizations and the Clallam County nonprofit sector as a whole.
